Is my memory private?

Each user has a separate store. Text is anonymized and secrets are redacted before storage. System admins see only truncated, anonymized content. See Privacy & security.

Does EAM send my data to an AI provider?

No. The production server runs embeddings locally and makes no hosted language model calls. DREAM is deterministic. Your own assistants read memory only when you connect them.

Why did my write not appear?

Low-salience text is discarded (persisted:false). Raw screen captures and imports are in the RECENT tier until DREAM runs.

Can I edit a memory?

Yes. Editing creates a new version that supersedes the old; the old version is kept as history.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Data → Wipe soft-deletes everything. To remove it permanently, purge the soft-deleted ids with POST /api/v1/memories/purge.

Can I use several assistants?

Yes. With OAuth each client signs in separately. With an API token they share one token; creating a new token revokes the old one.
